Dan has been shooting photos for over fifteen years. While growing up in Sydney's western suburbs, he developed an interest in photography - and found the perfect subject matter, right in his backyard - skateboarding.

After completing a BA Visual Arts, Dan launched head on into action sports photography and has experienced a great deal of exposure, both here in Australia and overseas.

In between documenting the action on the mountains, Dan spends his time in Sydney working as a press photographer for The Australian newspaper, as well as being a regular editorial contributor to various snow, sport, travel and lifestyle magazines around the world.
