Dan has been shooting photos for over fifteen years. While growing up in Sydney's western suburbs, he developed an interest in photography - and found the perfect subject matter, right in his backyard - skateboarding.

After completing a BA Visual Arts, Dan launched head on into action sports photography and has experienced a great deal of exposure, both here in Australia and overseas. Dan is known for bringing a  skateboardesque style of photography into Australian snowboarding and skiing.

Dan's work has been published in magazines from Australia, New Zealand, Finland, USA, and Japan. Including: Australian Snowboarder, NZ Snowboarder, Snowsurf (Fr), Method Mag (Europe), SG Magazine (USA), and Transworld Snowboarding (Japan).

In between documenting the action on the mountains, Dan spends his time in Sydney working as a press photographer for news wire services and newspapers, as well as being a regular editorial contributor to various snow, sport, travel and lifestyle magazines around the world.

Dan recently covered the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada as a fully accredited photographer, providing images for several Australian newspapers and web outlets throughout the games.
